Get Involved

There are many ways to make a difference at Seattle Children’s Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center. Volunteers, interns, partners, instructors and donors help guide our programs, assist with classes and outings, provide job skills training, raise funds and make our communities more inclusive. We serve the full range of adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Volunteer With Us

We rely on volunteers to fulfill the center’s vision of lifelong learning and better quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities. Most volunteers help with classes at the Alyssa Burnett Center in Bothell. Other opportunities include supporting outings or helping with administrative duties. Intern With Us

The Alyssa Burnett Center is a training and fieldwork site for students preparing for careers in a wide range of fields. These include music therapy, art therapy, social work, health studies, community psychology, education and business. Learn about internships at the Alyssa Burnett Center.

Partner With Us

Teach for Us

We welcome new instructors who have a passion for teaching adults with developmental disabilities. Our classes cover a wide range of topics, such as life skills, cooking, art, music, fitness, gardening, gaming and more. We are always looking to expand our offerings.
