Comprehensive Leukemia and Lymphoma Care

We treat more babies, children, teens and young adults with leukemia and lymphoma than any other hospital in our region. Some are just starting their first treatment. Others have refractory, relapsed or recurrent disease. Our entire focus is on providing exceptional and compassionate care, novel therapies, and life-saving treatments to achieve the best outcomes, grounded by our focus on family-centered care and health equity.

We treat children, teens and young adults with the most complex cancers. U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks our Cancer and Blood Disorders Center among the best in the United States. Seattle Children’s also ranks as the top children’s hospital in the Northwest and among the nation’s best.

Meet Harper

When 6-month-old Harper grew ill, the initial local doctor’s visits in Yakima, Washington, provided no answers. Advanced Diagnostics and Treatment

Seattle Children’s provides the most advanced treatments for leukemia and lymphoma in our region. These include immunotherapy, targeted therapies, innovative combinations of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery and stem cell transplants.

In addition to standard diagnostics, our team uses state-of-the-art tests like molecular profiling and next-generation sequencing for children with leukemia. These tests help us find what is unique about your child’s cancer and identify the best treatment options for them.

We strive to improve cure rates and avoid the harsh effects from treatments like chemotherapy or radiation therapy. When possible, we use therapies that target your child’s specific cancer. This approach is called precision (or personalized) medicine.
