Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic Places to Stay and Transportation
Seattle Children’s is here to support you and your family during your child’s bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
If you are coming from out of town to receive care at Seattle Children’s, we recommend that you arrange temporary housing as soon as you know your arrival date. Some accommodations and financial assistance can take several weeks to arrange. Patients undergoing a bone marrow or stem cell transplant are asked to live within a 30-minute drive (in heavy traffic) of Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Bedside
Most patient rooms have a sleeper chair or couch where one parent or guardian can sleep at night. Staying bedside depends on the patient's condition, available space and safety. Ask your nurse about the rules for your child’s unit. Siblings and visitors may not stay overnight. See the visiting section to learn more
RV/Trailer Parking
We offer a few RV/trailer parking spots with electrical and water hookups for patient families. These spots are by reservation only and available for parents and caregivers of current patients who meet the eligibility requirements.
