  • Biography

    Devan Duenas, MA is a Clinical Research Coordinator II who joined the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics in 2017. He is the coordinator for the Research Bioethics Consultation Service through the University of Washington’s Institute of Translational Health Sciences. Devan also serves as the Managing Editor for the Challenging Cases in Research Ethics series in the American Journal of Bioethics, as well as the Coordinator for Clinical Research Ethics Consultation Collaborative (CRECC). His academic background is in criminal justice and his work has involved qualitative research on motivations, concerns, barriers, and facilitators related to research participation as well as participant perspectives on respect in research.
