  • Biography

    Dr. Neel Bhatt is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist who specializes in treating children and young adults with leukemias, lymphomas, and non-malignant diseases undergoing blood and marrow transplantation. He is also an assistant professor, Clinical Research Division, at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.

    Prior to joining Fred Hutch and Seattle Children's, he completed his master's degree in Public Health at the University of Texas School of Public Health, Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin, and Cancer Survivorship fellowship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As an expert in cancer survivorship, Dr. Bhatt also cares for long-term survivors of cancer and transplantation. His research is focused on improving the health outcomes and quality of life of children and young adults with cancer. Dr. Bhatt's work ranges from the use of patient-reported outcomes measurement tools in symptom assessment and management to analyzing large registry-based and administrative databases for comparative effectiveness research.
