  • Biography

    Rebecca Cronin, MD is a general pediatrician at the UWMC Roosevelt Pediatric Care Clinic with a strong interest in helping build resilient families and communities, with an emphasis on providing trauma informed care.  She has worked in both academic medicine and private practice, and currently sees patients through the Center for Adoption Medicine as well as patients at the Roosevelt PCC. 

    Dr. Cronin comes to UW after 4 years at The Polyclinic, as well as 8 years at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she was involved with several programs focused on early childhood attachment and parenting support.  She also has a passion for teaching, and she loves the opportunity to work with medical students and residents that being part of the UW community offers her.  In the past, she has taught Swedish Family Practice residents as well as residents and medical students through Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Cronin also enjoys working to improve health care from a systems based perspective, and served as the Unit Chief for MGH Chelsea Healthcare Center Pediatric Medicine Unit.
