"Immunology diagnoses are often complex and overwhelming. I am passionate about empowering families by educating children and their caregivers on the immune system, so families have a deeper understanding of their child’s diagnosis and the rationale behind the tests we order. Creating meaningful, honest relationships with patients and families to promote collaboration is the core of my practice and I feel privileged to learn from families and watch their children grow and thrive despite the multitude of challenges they face with an immune diagnosis. "

  • Biography

    I am from the Bay Area originally and got a taste of the Pacific Northwest for the first time when I attended the University of Washington where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.  I spent a few years in a microbiology lab where I obtained a deep appreciation for how bacteria compete to survive in their environment.Although I enjoyed my time in research – I found I gravitated more towards the impacts of the research I was doing on patients. I subsequently went to Philadelphia where I obtained by Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. I spent a few years working as a registered nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on a general pediatrics unit before completing my Master of Science in Nursing to become a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I completed the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship before joining the Immunology team.
