Starting July 13, 2023, masking for patients, families and visitors will be recommended, but not required, at all locations. Masks should be worn if you have respiratory symptoms like coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose or fever. We continue to recommend that everyone — patients, families, visitors and workforce members — wear a mask to prevent the spread of infection. We will have masks available when you enter any of our facilities, if you choose to wear one.

My child is interested in this class but is not 11 yet. Can I register them for the class?
No. This class is intended for participants over the age of 10. We recognize that maturity and readiness falls on a continuum. Like school districts, we found we needed to establish a minimum age. This policy is based on the collective expertise of numerous developmental pediatric professionals and our 25 years of experience.

Yes, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The supervising adult is encouraged to take the class alongside the child, but will need to have registered for the class themselves to do so. We also offer a CPR and First Aid for Babysitters class, which is intended for pre-teens and teens aged 11–15 and teaches similar information for a pediatric population, without adult CPR.
-
My child is interested in this class and they are 15 or older. Do I need to accompany them?
No. If you are providing transportation to and from class, please arrive by 2:30 p.m. to pick them up.

If class has to be cancelled due to weather conditions or instructor emergency, how will I be notified?
We make every effort to avoid cancelling classes. In the event of a cancellation, we notify the class via email as early as possible, which is generally the morning of class. In addition, we will call the phone number you provided during registration. Registration staff will then email you within 1 week after the cancelled class to reschedule or issue a refund.
-
Can I pay with cash or check?
No. We use a third-party registration system, RegOnline, which requires that all payments go through their secure online payment system.
