PAL for Schools
PAL for Schools was a pilot program that ran from 2019 to 2021. This program is currently not active. See a program summary below.
PAL for Schools is a telepsychiatry consultation pilot program for middle, junior and high schools in Washington’s Medical Lake and Sumner–Bonney Lake school districts. We connect school staff and students to psychologists and psychiatrists at Seattle Children’s and the University of Washington.
The program is a partnership between Seattle Children’s Partnership Access Line (PAL) and the University of Washington’s School Mental Health Assessment Research and Training (SMART) Center.

Eligible school district employees can use the PAL for Schools telehealth line to consult with psychologists and psychiatrists based at Seattle Children’s and the University of Washington. The consultation line is intended for school counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses, administrators and other school district employees.
