Interactive Digital Atlas of the Pediatric Cervical Spine

How to Install

Requirements

The single file (an MSI file) that you download contains the files necessary for operating the atlas. The program should run on any computer with Windows 2000 or Windows XP with the.NET Framework installed. The program does not work on the Macintosh platform.

Installation

By default the necessary files and folders will be located in the following directory: C:\program files\CHRMC\CervicalSpine Atlas.

The folder entitled "Atlas" contains all the files necessary to run the atlas. A help file/tutorial is located in the "Atlas_Help" folder.

You can run the program from the Start menu, in the Programs folder, under CervicalSpine Atlas. Alternatively, you can run the program by opening up the atlas folder and clicking on the file "CervicalSpineAtlas.exe". You can place a shortcut to this file on the desktop. The program should start. If the program does not start, you probably need the.NET Framework installed. You can download this from the Microsoft website. Simply search for "dotnetfx.exe" on the Internet. Then run "dotnetfx.exe" to install the.NET Framework onto your hard drive.

Troubleshooting

You can run the help file/tutorial from the Start menu, in the Programs folder, under CervicalSpine Atlas. Alternatively, you can run the program by opening up the Atlas_Help folder and clicking on the file "CervicalSpine_Help.doc".
