About the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics and Palliative Care
The Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics and Palliative Care began in 2005 when the Seattle Children's Hospital Board of Trustees endowed the center and named it to honor retiring CEO Treuman Katz for his interest in pediatric bioethics. The Treuman Katz Center was the first in the country to focus on bioethics issues and palliative care scholarship in pediatrics. Read our 2022 Annual Report.
