Sconyers/Godfrey Bioethics Grand Rounds
About Sconyers/Godfrey Bioethics Grand Rounds
The Sconyers/Godfrey Bioethics Grand Rounds engages the Seattle Children’s community around a challenging ethical issue, often inspired by recent clinical cases. The grand rounds are structured to be interactive. Typically, a Seattle Children’s clinician presents a hypothetical case to frame the ethical questions. A national expert then provides a commentary on the case, followed by a half hour for robust discussion involving the audience.
The Treuman Katz Center for Pediatrics Bioethics and Palliative Care is grateful for Jeff Sconyers and Debra Godfrey’s ongoing support of our educational activities in bioethics, which enables us to offer this thought-provoking series.
