Research Expansion: Making “What Ifs” a Reality
For more than a decade, we at Seattle Children’s Research Institute have been asking ourselves “What if?” every day. And thanks to remarkable discoveries from dedicated researchers, hundreds of “What ifs” have become realities.
In 2019, we opened our Seattle Children’s Research Institute: Building Cure research facility in downtown Seattle, the latest step in Seattle Children’s quest to revolutionize pediatric medicine and save the lives of more children. Building Cure expands the Seattle Children’s Research Institute campus to over 1 million square feet of space and is home to a state-of-the-art cell-manufacturing facility. It boosts our ability to make scientific discoveries, develop new therapies and conduct clinical trials that bring therapies to children in areas like cancer, type 1 diabetes and sickle cell disease.
There are many ways you can get involved with and learn more about Seattle Children’s Research Institute as we continue working every day to find the answers that are changing the world.
